Biography
Sumugan Sivanesan employs experimental and occult means to make practical sense of contemporary events.
Musique Provocateur, documents his various musical activities. He has also released sound and video works on Cronica Electronica.
His video peices have been included in international events such as Videobrasil (Brasil, 2005), Club Transmediale (Germany 2004), Electrofringe (Australia 2003), Abstraction Now (Vienna 2003), The International Symposium for Electronic Art (Japan 2002), d>ART (Australia 2002 & 2004), Liquid Architecture (Australia 2002 & 2004 - 05), Experimenta (Australia 2001).
He was co-director for Electrofringe in 2005-06 - a skills and development festival for experimental, digital, electronic and new media culture, in the regional centre of Newcastle NSW.
He is an active participant of cross disciplinary media action / art gang boat-people.org.
He is based in Sydney, Australia.
